If your a gingerbread lover, one bite and you will be in heaven! Why do we only eat gingerbread one time of the year?!? Merry Christmas, Love Amanda :)
Ingredients:
1/2 cup whole wheat flour
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1.2 tsp. baking soda
pinch of salt
1/2 tsp. ground cinnamon
1/4 tsp. ground ginger
1/4 tsp. nutmeg
1/8 tsp. ground cloves
1 egg white
1 Tbsp. molasses
1/2 cup almond milk
1 medium pear, peeled and diced
Directions:
1. Heat a medium sized skillet over medium heat and spray with cooking spray
2. Whisk together flour through cloves in a small bowl
3. In a medium bowl, whisk the egg white, molasses and almond milk
4. Add the dry ingredients to wet and mix well
5. Using a 1/4 cup measuring cup spoon out batter and allow to cook 1-2 minutes, when bubbles start to form add diced pear, flip and cook an additional 1-2 minutes
*Serve with a sprinkle of powdered sugar and maple syrup
